u are right ,with diz method u posted... all i mean iz dat,if u want to diz connect ur modem u can,but make sure u do diz:
while connected,transfer 100naira to dat sim and subscribe to 10mb den send reset to 131 immediately or transfer 250 to it and send 2h to 131 and reset to 131 immediately den u can disconnect and reconnect to flex on...but i prefer dat 10mb sha!

I tried the PD Proxy thing. Followed all the steps and it did not work for me.
And is anyone else noticing that the data plans cannot be activated? I even called a customer care staff who told me the "simple surf plans have been removed" - two separate people said the same thing.

Send 100H to 131 to get 100hours valid for 30days (3GB) free on MTN - No credit taken.

I also tried the 300H but it didn't work (insufficient credit reply), so the 100H is the only one I've tried that works.
